1904 Perth Half Sovereign

While all half sovereigns from the reign of Edward VII are uncommon, there are a few coins that are particularly scarce. The 1904 Perth half sovereign is one of them. The mintage was just 60,000 pieces, with a supermajority of examples lost in time. The coin on offer here is a whisper off mint state, and is one of the nicest pieces I’ve handled for a number of years. Equal-fourth finest graded by PCGS (4/21) and scarce.
