A very rare proof of record VIP issue from the United Kingdom. These desirable proofs were issued for collectors and dignitaries in very small numbers. Compared to our pre-1955 proofs, which were minted in similar numbers but can sell for five times the price, British VIP proofs look cheap. Equal-finest graded by PCGS (9/21).
