After the ultra-rare 1917 sovereign, the 1916 sovereign is the key date to the London George V sovereign set. The numbers speak for themselves: From 1911 to 1925, PCGS has graded over 100 examples of each date, with the exception of the 1917 (10 coins) and the 1916 (35 coins) (2/14).
