1930 Perth Sovereign

Although all Perth small head sovereigns are common in lesser grades, both the 1929P and 1930P sovereigns are scarce in MS64 and rare in grades better than that. The coin photographed above is a fresh coin from a Sydney source, is fully struck, and blooms with flashy cartwheel lustre. The fields are particularly clear, lending the impression of a better grade. A top end coin, and ideal for a type or date set.
