1911 Sydney Half Sovereign

Half sovereigns are generally scarce. The 1911-S half sovereign is no exception, and has a low mintage of only 252,000 pieces. There is a tiny indentation in the obverse field, around nine o’clock, mentioned for accuracy only. Nevertheless, scarce, with a catalogue value of $575 in the 2013 McDonald catalogue.
