1930 Penny

The undisputed king of Australian coins, the 1930 penny has been popular with collectors and investors since decimalisation in 1966. The current coin, photographed above, was sourced out of an old Hills District collection in Sydney, and was previously sold by Downies in the early 2000s. It is beautifully coloured, with clean edges, generally unmarked fields, and great eye appeal overall.
