1927 Pretoria Sovereign

Although the 1927 South African sovereign is one of the more common dates in the sovereign series, it is rare in high grades (like most sovereigns), and difficult to obtain in PCGS MS65 or better. The coin photographed above is in the top 1% of 1927SA sovereigns graded by PCGS (12/21). Ex-the Caranett Collection.
