1924 Pretoria Sovereign

The 1924-SA sovereign is one of South Africa’s great rarities. The mintage is either 2,660 pieces (according to Marsh) or 3,184 pieces (according to other sources). Either way, the number surviving today across all grades is miniscule. In Mint State, the coin is exceedingly rare.
