1960 Proof VIP Crown

Both VIP proof coins and proof crowns are passionately sought after by collectors, so when we had the opportunity to acquire a proof VIP crown, we could not resist. This 1960 proof crown was issued to very important persons, and can be distinguished from the regular currency and proof-like issues by its highly reflective cameo fields. The number minted is not known, but various sources state that 30 to 50 coins were struck. The present example is in high grade, and an ideal coin for the crown collector, or Queen Elizabeth aficionado.
