United Kingdom, 1908 Sovereign - Grades PCGS MS63.
All British sovereigns of Edward VII are common, but some are more common than others. The 1908 sovereign is the fourth most common sovereign in the series, but unlike the other common dates, is hard in mint state grades. Scarce in PCGS MS63 and rare in MS64, the quality-conscious date set collector should aim to acquire an example in MS63 or MS64, while the collector on a budget should need only the minimum amount of patience until he or she finds an example for sale in MS62.
