United Kingdom, 1825 Laurette Head Sovereign - Grades PCGS MS62.
Early sovereigns have been immensely popular with collectors the last couple of years, with George III sovereigns in all grades rising strongly in price, in particular. George IV and William IV sovereigns in high grade have also received renewed interest. The 1825 St George reverse sovereign photographed above is one of the nicer examples of this rare date to appear on the market in recent years, and is an ideal example for the collector seeking a Mint State coin for their type or date set.
