Canada, 1912 Ten Dollars - Grades PCGS MS63.
A beautiful coin with lots of colour and tonnes of eye appeal. Minimally bagged and reasonably difficult to find this nice. Low mintage of only 74,759 pieces, and scarce this nice. (Update: After the public sale of the Canadian Gold Reserve coins in early 2013, thousands of new gold five and ten dollars were released into the market. Prices for these issues have consequently come off somewhat, and I have discounted the coin photographed above accordingly. Was $2,950, but now $2,250—which is essentially my cost.)
