1856 Sydney Mint Sovereign

Type I Sydney Mint sovereigns have been very popular with collectors in the last one or two years. The coins, Australia’s first official gold coins, are difficult to obtain in all grades, with examples in AU55 or finer considered “connoisseur” or “investment grade” coins.
