1887 Sydney Shield Reverse Sovereign

The 1887S shield sovereign is a scarcer date. It is dear in PCGS MS62 or better, but can be quite affordable in lower grades. The coin photographed above is a fresh and lustrous coin, with great eye appeal. Some dealers would describe it as “UNC”, but in our view it is accurately graded at PCGS AU58.
