1881 Melbourne Shield Reverse Sovereign with round truncation

S-3854, with curved tip of truncation. A difficult coin to obtain in any grade, with very few graded by PCGS. This variety, which has a curved tip on the truncation instead of a pointy one, has only recently been recognised and listed by Spink. For more information about this variety, click here.
