1871 Sydney Shield Reverse Sovereign

An attractive coin in high grade. While the London shield back sovereign of 1871 was one of the last shield sovereigns issued by the Royal Mint, the Sydney shield sovereign of 1871 was the first shield back sovereign issued by an Australian mint.
