S-3852, with plain edge and struck with dies medallically aligned. 1839 proof sovereigns have been on fire the last six months, with an example in PCGS PR65+DC selling for AU$73,500 in September 2020 and another in NGC PR64DC selling for AU$61,000 in August. The coin photographed above is a more affordable example of this popular coin, and is still highly-desirable in PCGS PR62DC. Scarce.
