2013 India Sovereign

India’s first sovereign in 95 years has been a hit in the international market. With limited numbers available and an even smaller number available in PCGS MS67 or better, these coins will continue to sell well, in my view. The reported mintage is 50,000 pieces, but rumour has it that an additional 10,000 examples were manufactured for the international market to meet demand. Considering that these coins still trade at a decent premium over their gold content, it would be fair to say that this demand was not met at all.
