1922/1 Overdate Threepence

A high-quality example of this popular Australian rarity, with full rims, full “Advance Australia” and lots of detail to King George V’s robes, face, and crown. Four pearls are visible, as is the lower band, while the emu has hints of feathers about its breast and back. It is also evenly coloured, and has no significant faults, such as edge knocks, deep scratches, or flan creases. Third-finest graded by PCGS (12/15), and a genuine rarity that might be worth putting aside for a few years.
