1931 Dropped "1" Penny with Indian obverse

A key Australian penny that is rarer than the famous 1930 penny, yet a fifth of the price. The present coin, certified authentic by PCGS, was not graded because of environmental damage to the surfaces. While problem-free examples cost over $4,000, the coin photographed above has been priced favourably and is an ideal option for the collector on a budget.
