Ex-Tom May Collection. Tom May was a prominent Australian numismatist who was published extensively in the Australian Coin and Banknote magazine and the Numismatic Association of Victoria journal. He died in 2011. This coin was part of his estate, which was dispersed in Noble Numismatics sale 99, April 2012. An original and attractive coin, and well-priced at this level.
